The Chicken or the Egg Chocolate Box...

Hi all

I am here today to share with you the project and cards we made at this month's class.  As Easter is quickly approaching and we are beginning to see eggs in the shops, I thought it was time to have a go at a little Easter project.  I love creme eggs and wanted to make a little box to hold three eggs which I could give as a little gift.  I wanted the eggs to be on show so embarked on a little research for egg packaging, well what a minefield, you would not believe the amount of packaging available for eggs (albeit not of the chocolate variety!).  I found a box I quite liked then set about creating it, this is what I came up with.

I love the selection of stamps and papers in this year's Sale-a-Bration promotion and I wanted to hold a class which showboated a few of these lovely stamps, starting with What I Love.  I love the three step stamping sets, they are so easy to use but so pretty at the same time.

Can you see the wrinkles in the background?  This was done using the tissue paper technique.

The next stamp set I wanted to use was the Flowering Fields stamp set but in a subtle way.

Finally we made this swing card from the brilliant Kirsteen Gill.  I resized it to a 12cm square but it was made in exactly the same way.

I hope you liked this month's offerings.

Happy Stampin!
