Colour Combo Blog Hop - April 2020...

Good morning and welcome to my blog.  You may have joined me from Tricia or starting the hop here.  We have some amazing projects to share with you today, using the three colours
Grapefruit Grove - Gray Granite - Highland Heather

I do love a colour challenge as it gets you thinking outside of the box a bit.  Grapefruit Grove and Highland Heather make beautiful flowers but without some green I really struggled.  Then I remembered the beautiful Leave a Little Sparkle stamp set, who doesn't love a unicorn???

I would automatically reach for several colours to colour the unicorn's tail and mane but with just two I think it looks beautiful.

I stamped the small stars on to a Gray Granite base card using the same colour ink.  I cut the background from the Shimmer Detailed Laser Cut Speciality Paper.  This laser cut paper is so beautiful and it has a cream colour to it which is shimmery but if you flip it over it is white on the reverse which means you can colour it yourself or leave it white, as I have done for this project.

I cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock the same size as the laser cut and sponged Grapefruit Grove at the top and Highland Heather at the bottom before sticking the laser paper over the top.

I cut out the unicorn and added it using 3d foam before embossing my greeting, adding some colour using the Stampin' Blends and finishing off with some twine and gems.

Thanks again for hopping by, I am now going to pass you on to Jill who I am sure has something lovely to share with you today.

Keep safe

Jo
