Good afternoon and welcome to the Ink.Stamp.Share April Colour Challenge Blog Hop. You may have joined me from Jill or starting your hop here, either way thank you for dropping by.
This month I set the challenge of using four beautiful spring colours, Rococo Rose, Highland Heather, So Saffron and Granny Apple Green.
I decided to make my card using the newly released Ornate Style stamp set. It is a lovely floral stamp set which has many co-ordinating products. I have also used the Ornate Thanks greetings set which is super versatile and the beautiful Ornate Floral embossing folder. I coloured the image using our beautiful Stampin' Blends.
Here is my card...
I cut three strips of cardstock in Highland Heather, So Saffron and Granny Apple Green to measure 4cm x 8.5cm. I embossed them using the Ornate Floral embossing folder and mounted them on to a piece of Whisper White cardstock which measured 9.5cm x 13.85cm before mounting this on to my C6 Rococo Rose base card.
The greeting was stamped in Memento ink on to So Saffron card and the THANKS was heat embossed in white on to Basic Black cardstock and mounted on 3d foam.
The floral display was fussy cut and also mounted using 3d foam. I finally added a little Wink of Stella to the flowers and a few gems to finish.
I hope you like my card and I am now going to pass you on to Stacey. I love to receive your feedback so please take the time to leave a comment if you can.
Keep safe and Happy Stampin'
Jo
