Ink & Share Scrapbook Blog Hop - April 2020...

Welcome to the Ink & Share Scrapbook April Hop.

You may have joined me from Cheryl or starting your journey here.

The theme this month is Spring/New Beginnings.  As those that follow me know, we moved home back in August last year.  We now have a much larger garden and a lovely vegetable area conveniently fenced off from the pups!  We also inherited an abundance of fruit trees and bushes which are all in blossom at the moment so look absolutely beautiful.  I was really spoilt for choice.

I have however decided to show you the most beautiful Wisteria which adorns the front of our house.  We missed the best of it last year but it flowers twice and smells divine.  I have always loved Wisteria but have never been very successful in growing it so was very happy with this inheritance!

Here are a couple of pictures and as you can see it is not fully out yet.

I have always thought wisteria to be a purple/lavender colour from a distance but it wasn't until I looked closely at the photographs that I realised they actually have a lot of blue in them.  So here is my page to celebrate Spring.

I used the hostess stamp set Soft Spring stamped several times in Purple Posy (this was to merely give me a feint guideline to follow).  I then used a Granny Apple Green Stampin' Write Marker for the stems, drawing over the top of the stamped image, and a mixture of Highland Heather and Seaside Spray Stampin' Blends.  I cut then fussy cut them (I think there were 6 in total).

I used the bricks from the Pattern Party Decorative masks and sponged in Cajun Craze and a little Soft Suede ink.

I cut the word Spring three times once each in Highland Heather, Seaside Spray and Whisper White and glued them together just offsetting the layers slightly so you can see the three colours.

I hope you like my Spring inspired layout and I am now going to pass you on to Rebecca-Jo who I am sure has something lovely to share with you today.

Happy Scrappin'
