Inspire.Create.Challenge #216 | Black and White

 

Good morning and welcome to another Inspire.Create.Challenge.

This week, our challenge is all about Black and White and maybe all the 'greys' in between!  

Black and White are a classic combination and can be seen in sport, in decor, in games, and it always looks crisp and sharp.

For today's challenge I have used a new stamp set from Stampin' Up! called Garden Gatherings.  On the face of it, it is a really simple little set but I think it has huge potential!

I have used the Beautiful Ordinary Life Designer Series Paper, also from Stampin' Up!, the leaves paper on the 'B' side of the beautiful stripes.

I used simple colouring pencils to colour in the leaves in shades of greys leading up to black.  I also coloured the vase using the same pencils.  The other elements are stamped in Black Memento ink.

I then used a black fine liner pen to add the dots and dashes around the centre panel.

I really enjoyed making this card, it took me to my happy zone.  Now it is your turn to let us see your black and white creations.
