Good morning and welcome to Inspire.Create.Challenge #215 which is an embossing challenge. This can be dry embossing, heat embossing or any kind of embossing you wish to highlight.
I have used a mixture of both dry and heat embossing in my card.
When I was making my card I didn't appreciate just how difficult it would be to photograph so my apologies if you have to zoom in!!
The cardstock is from Stampin' Up! as is the embossing folder I have used on the black centre panel. It is called Damask Designs and is still available in the Last Chance clearance section. It is one of my favourites as it is dainty and really detailed.
The beautiful patterned paper you can see on the card is from Craft Consortium, a family run company based in Derby in the UK. It is from a collection called Gardeners Delight, as are the stamps.
I heat embossed the wellies and the radish on to white card with black embossing powder. I then used Stampin' Blends from Stampin' Up! to colour the images. I stamped the gloves on to a piece of patterned paper before colouring the finger tips and fussy cutting them.
I arranged the images on the card front using dimensionals for the wellies. The sentiment is from an old set but thought it was appropriate for this card and then I added a few coloured pearls.
I added a little bit of the paper to the inside to finish the card.
Now it is your turn, we would love to see your 'embossing' creations. The challenge is open until midnight on Wednesday 13th May and you can center the clicking on the link below.
