Good afternoon and welcome to the Ink.Stamp.Share blog hop. This week we are sharing projects made with Something New. The Spring/Summer catalogue is full of beautiful new products and I cannot wait to see what everyone else is creating with today.
My card is made with a beautiful new bundle called Enduring Beauty. This is a brand new concept for Stampin' Up! called Mix and Mask so not only do you have the usual stamp and die combination but it also includes a mask to colour and shade your stamped design very quickly! I haven't played with the masks yet but I loved this stamp for its size and how much I love to colour.
Using a water painter and two colours, Mossy Meadow and Moody Mauve, I watercoloured this full image in a couple of hours of self-indulgent painting! I love to use our gorgeous inks to add colour to a stamped image and whilst I love being surrounded by all my ink pads, sometimes just two is enough!
The background Designer Series Paper is from the Poetic Expressions DSP, Moody Mauve is one of my favourite colours at the moment, it is so rich yet so delicate at the same time. The sentiment is from the Thoughtful Expressions stamp set.
I hope you like my card today and it may inspire you to get out your inks and pencils!

Have a great weekend!
