Ink Stamp Share | Spring/Summer Catty

Happy New Year and welcome to my first blog hop for 2024! Today I am hopping with the Ink.Stamp.Share hop and we are sharing projects made with new goodies from the Spring/Summer Catalogue or the Sale-a-Bration catalogue!

There was one suite of products that really caught my eye this time called Poetic Expressions. I particularly liked the imagery and the sketch type nature of these stamps makes colouring them super easy!

I stamped all the elements in Black Staz-on and used a colour wash direct from the ink colours in Boho Blue, Moody Mauve, Mossy Meadow and Wild Wheat.

The stamps have a sort of wispy look to them so they enable you to lay down colour quite quickly and achieve great results. I used a Water Painter to apply the colour.

Although it doesn't show up in the photographs, I also added some Wink of Stella to my 'artistic licensed' hummingbird so he has a little shimmer too!
