Stampers Showcase | Free for All

Good afternoon and Happy Monday to you all.  The Stampers Showcase team have a FREE FOR ALL hop today so you are in for some real treats as we showcase what we have been working on.

I have decided to showcase a piece I made just before Christmas for a pre-Christmas class.  I always offer a non Christmas class just before the event as usually by then we are all Christmas'd out and need some good old fashioned crafting.

This is a home decor project using the beautiful Abigail Rose suite of products.

We started with a polystyrene heart which measures approximately 21cm across/8 inches.  We tightly wrapped the heart in the beautiful Natural Finish Ribbon.  The ribbon is really soft and wide so it is perfect for this.  We added a string tie and got to decorating.

We stamped numerous flowers and leaves and decoupaged some to create dimension.  They were coloured with Stampin' Blends so it was a really relaxing class colouring and cutting.  Once all the pieces were cut we then arranged them on to the heart and glued in place with hot glue to ensure a permanent fix.

We then added a double bow to the top to complete.

I am not sure whether you can really see in this picture, but we added a Wink of Stella to everything so it has that beautiful glimmer without the sparkle.

I hope you like my project today and I cannot wait to see what everyone else has been working on.  You can follow the hop by clicking on the next blog button below.

Have a great week,

Jo
