Happy Saturday to you all, hope you are having a lovely day! I have a big online event this weekend with the Maker's Mojo team so I have been super busy getting everything ready whilst tackling a horrible cold! Today we are sharing projects made with Sale-a-Bration products. Whilst I was desperate to bring something to you with those amazing carrots, here are some cards I made with the stunning Dainty Flowers DSP. It is a definite must have!
There are so many beautiful elements in the DSP to fussy cut and if you love fussy cutting as much as I do, it is amazing, However, if fussy cutting is not your thing, how about these two cards made simply with the DSP?!
A few simple mats and layers, linen thread and a sentiment made a simple but beautifully elegant card.
For this one, I wanted to 'look through the window' at the beautiful flowers and simply cut strips of the DSP. Again, this is a really simple but really effective technique.
Now for the fussy cutting. I could not resist cutting the beautiful frame of flowers from one sheet of the DSP, it is super fiddly to cut but I loved doing it.
As the front of my card was not quite wide enough to take the full oval, I cut it in half near the yellow daisy at the bottom and overlapped the top and bottom sections slightly so it would fit. You would never know and it framed the front better.
Here are the three designs together...
I am really excited to see what my fellow demonstrators have been making with the Sale-a-Bration products. You can follow the hop by clicking on the next blog button below.
Have a great weekend,
Jo
