The Stampers Showcase theme for this month is Autumn or Halloween. We don't celebrate Halloween so much here in the UK, unless you have little ones and given Autumn is my favourite craft time, that is what it had to be.
I created this card for a recent card swap using the beautiful Soft Seedlings Stamp Set. I love the clean beauty of this stamp. I stamped the leaves in a mixture of Cherry Cobbler, Crushed Curry and Pumpkin Pie and over stamped them as if they had fallen from the tree.
This was such a quick card to make but the colours just bring it to life straightaway.
I stamped my sentiment in Versamark ink on to Cherry Cobbler cardstock and heat embossed using White Embossing Powder before fussy cutting it out and arranging it on my card with some linen thread. I love the natural tones of the linen thread to add to the Autumn feel.
