Monday Mashup #63 - Cute Woven Easter Basket...

Good afternoon and welcome to Monday Mashup #63 (finally!).  I apologise for my absence last week, I had such an awful cold and cough and my attempts to record the video were very unsuccessful!

I wanted to share this cute little basket with you, perfect for that small little Easter gift.  It is made from strips of card so can be a great way to use up some of your scraps.

You could of course make the basket from DSP but you would need to be quite careful as it is a lot thinner than our cardstock.  Or, you could stamp some cardstock in a tonal ink to add some interest but I quite like it as it is so it shows off the weave to the best effect.

This is quite a simple little project albeit a bit fiddly when it comes to putting the basket together but it can just as easily be stuck in place if you don't like the fiddly bits!!!

You can see how it was made here.

Thank you for bearing with me last week and hopefully I will remain cold free now!

Have a great day,
