Good morning and welcome to another Monday Mashup. I hope you have had a lovely crafty weekend. I was busy all weekend with World Cardmaking Day on Saturday and today I have been class prepping in my craft room.
Last week I shared a Theatre Card, an old classic, but one that I had not made in years. You can see the original post here.
I was playing with the Happy Holly-Days stamp set whilst busy prepping for a tutorial and I thought it would make a great set for this fancy fold.
The card starts off closed and you pull out the side tabs to reveal a hidden design with a theatrical opening.
I stamped the robin and holly on to Fluid 100 paper using a Staz-on ink pad and coloured using our Watercolour Pencils and a Blender pen.
You can see some of the mechanism in this photograph.
The robin and holly were fussy cut before being mounted on to and inside the card.
The paper is taken from the Harvest Meadow Designer Series Paper. It just worked so perfectly with this design.
