Inspire.Create.Challenge #102 - Sketch Challenge...

Good morning and welcome to another Inspire.Create.Challenge.  I have been off work this week so I have been busy trying to catch up on a few things whilst also taking some time out with my hubby and  our puppies.  It has been a lovely week but has gone far too quickly!

We have a sketch challenge for you today and you know how much I love a sketch!  This one is really simple but beautiful and really opens up to lots of possibilities.

Happy Holly-Days

I cut a card from Evening Evergreen cardstock and a further layer in the same colour.  I cut the circle from the card, added some ink around the outside edges and splattered the background using Whisper White ink.

The holly leaves are taken from the Happy Holly-Days stamp set which I have coloured using Old Olive and Poppy Parade Stampin' Blends.  I fussy cut these out and arranged them on the card front.

I then stamped the greeting on to a piece of Basic Black cardstock in Versamark ink and heat embossed it using White Embossing Powder.  This was then fussy cut and arranged on to my card.

I really enjoyed making this card and I love the impact of the Evening Evergreen against the lighter holly leaves.

I hope you like my card today.  You can see how the design team have interpreted this sketch over on the Inspire.Create.Challenge blog here.

We would love to see your own interpretation of the sketch and you can enter your card over on the blog.

Happy Stampin'

Jo
