Good morning and Happy Monday. I hope you have had a lovely weekend. I had an amazing weekend with a great class on Saturday where we made a mini album (more of that another day!) and Sunday was a lovely relaxing day, doing odd jobs and walking the dogs.
The Whimsy & Wonder suite of products are amazing and the Speciality Designer Series Paper is beautiful but there is so much potential to this suite.
So today I am sharing a really simple striking card using just the stamps and dies.
I created a circular frame from the Layering Circles dies and cut four of them before mounting them on top of each other to add dimension. On one of the circles cut from the middle I blended a background in Misty Moonlight and Night of Navy ink. I added the trees and stars before adding to my card.
It is very hard to see in the photograph but I added some subtle embossed lines in the background of my card which really add to it (in real life!).
It was a really lovely card to create and imagine that background in pinks or greens, I am thinking Blushing Bride and Polished Pink or Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen. I will have to give them a go!
