Monday Mashup #44 featuring A Good Man...

A Good Man

Good morning and welcome to another Monday Mashup.  I hope you have had a lovely weekend.  It was my hubby's birthday on Saturday so we saw some family and popped out for a bite to eat.  Sunday I went to my fellow demos' Crafternoon Tea.  It was such a lovely day and so nice to attend an in-person class at long last!

It is my nephew's birthday on Wednesday and he loves to spend time at the beach with his two gorgeous children so the deck chair stamp was perfect.

A Good Man

I started by making the porthole in my card and creating the lifebuoy to frame it.  I stamped the man in Memento ink before colouring with Stampin' Blends and fussy cutting it out.  I arranged all the elements on the card front and created a horizon in the background, through the porthole.

I am so pleased this stamp set and the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper carried over into the new Annual Catalogue, both of these would be greatly missed.

A Good Man

I hope you like my card today, I love building a scene on a card and I know my nephew will appreciate it.  I have recorded a video showing the various steps to create it.

All of the products I used to create my card can be purchased from my online shop by clicking on the links below.

Have a great week,

Jo

  2. Jo, your cards always amaze me! You are so creative. I love the 'feel' of that man just sittin' back and relaxin' on his cruise ship!
