Ink.Stamp.Share June Showcase - what's on my desk ...

Count on Me, Stampin' Up!

Good afternoon and welcome to the Ink.Stamp.Share June showcase!  So what is on my desk?  If I am honest, most of my craft room appears to be on my desk at the moment!  I love a good messy crafty desk but come the end of the week it has to be cleared to start all over again.

You may have hopped over from Joanna or starting the hop here.  The first card at the top of my post is a really quick card using the gorgeous Count on Me stamp set.  This is such a cute set which really appealed to me.  I would love to know the name of the little bird though if anyone knows?

My second card is using the Biggest Wish stamp set with the Pansy Designer Series Paper.  The papers make for very quick beautiful cards and the greetings are really bold.

And finally, I have had a little play with the Sweet as a Peach suite. This is a really happy suite and is very on trend at the moment. I coloured the peaches using Pale Papaya and then I sponged some Mango Melody and Calypso Coral to get the blend of colours that you see in peaches.

I hope you like my 'on my desk' makes.  The lovely Sue is up next and I know she will have made something lovely for the hop today.

Happy Stampin'

  8. Hi Jo, in answer to your question about the Count On Me stamp set, apart from the penguin you used in your card, the other bird is a Kiwi - I think this stamp set is meant to reference something from each country that Stampin'Up! has demo's in. The Kiwi is used as an icon to reference us as a people here in New Zealand.
