Dream in In-Colours...

Hand-Penned Petals

Good afternoon and welcome to the Stampin' Friends June Blog Hop.  Today we are dreaming in In-Colors.  You may have seen several of my posts introducing you to the new In-Colors and how much I love them all but the one I haven't used a great deal is Pale Papaya.

I decided to showcase Pale Papaya as it features quite a lot in the beautiful Hand Penned Petals suite which is definitely one of my favourite Designer Series Paper this year.

Hand Penned Petals

Sam at Mixed Up Craft has recently been creating a series of beautiful handbag tutorials.  She has taken her inspiration from a little book of designer handbags and is gradually recreating them.  This bag is based on her #5.  The original is a really large gift bag made from patterned paper with a card top but I wanted a smaller bag made from cardstock to make it extra strong for the gift I had in mind.  This is my version but all credit goes to Sam.

My bag measures 15cm (6") square and is 6cm wide (approx 2 1/2").  The bag is really strong and has a reasonable amount of space inside to hold all sorts of gifts.

I then created a matching card using all the same elements so they compliment each other nicely.

I hope you like my projects, all of the items I have used to create them can be purchased from my online shop by clicking on the links below.

Katja is up next and I can't wait to see what she has created.   You can follow the hop by clicking the links.

Happy Stampin,
