Monthly Class - January...

So welcome to the first monthly class of 2016.  There are so many great new products in the Spring/Summer catalogue that I really did not know which stamp set to highlight for the first class of 2016!  I changed my mind at least three times but have now planned the classes for the next five months so hopefully that should make my life a bit easier!

I finally decided on the Party Wishes stamp set.  You may recall my post from Monday which also highlighted this set and you can see this post here.

However, we made more than just a few cards, we made a little gift box.  The stamp set shouts birthday/celebration and with that always comes a cake so I decided to make the project for this month, a birthday cake box, and here it is.

 

It measures approx. 3" across x 4" high so is quite a nice useful size.

 

Of course our monthly class would not be the same without making some cards to go with our project, and here they are.

 

 

I will pop back tomorrow with a little tutorial for the cake box.
