Telford...

Last weekend I attended the Stampin' Up! Regional Training event at Telford.  I have already shared with you my swaps from the day and today I have a few photos of some of the displays.  But first, you often hear me talk about the lovely Chris from Stampin' Up! HQ well, here he is, aka Chris the Catalogue!!!  I was trying to hide myself behind that catalogue!

Stampin' Up! Regional Training - Telford

Today I am in Telford at the Stampin' Up! Regional Training where I hope to get my hands on some new goodies from the Annual Catalogue which launches on 2 June.  It will no doubt be a fun packed day that I get to spend with approximately 330 other demos from all over the UK and some from further afield.  A big part of the event is swaps.  We all make lots of swaps to exchange with other demos to share ideas and inspiration.

So, without further ado, here are my 'swaps'.

As promised, I am back today to share a couple of other cards with you.  I must confess I was inspired by these two from Pinterest, the first one because I loved the colours and the second because of its subtleness.

A little bit of Flower Patch using Strawberry Slush (another colour I am very sad to see go) and Blushing Bride with a little Pear Pizzazz for the leaves.

 

 
I changed it around a little but was inspired by Pretty Paper Cards

 

And for this one I was inspired by Erna Logtenberg

 

I know Curly Cute is long retired but I still love it and it is one that will never leave my stash!

Swallowtail...

Once I get to see the new catalogue and see what stamp sets are staying, it always inspires me to get the old favourites out again and have a play.  I have a class today and I thought I would share with you the first card we made using the lovely Swallowtail stamp, it sure is a biggy but gorgeous all the same.

I chose to highlight it in the 2014-2016 In Colors (I am going to be so sad when these retire next year!) and  I used daubers to add colour to the stamp before giving it a quick 'huff' and stamping it on to Whisper White cardstock.

May's Monthly Class...

Well here we are again, another month has passed, well that isn't absolutely true, this month's class is one week early as I am off to Telford for the Stampin' Up! Regional Training next week so I had to bring things forward a bit. 

This time of year is filled with mixed feelings as we are about to see the launch of the new annual catalogue.  Sadness because some of my favourite stamp sets will be leaving us forever (although quite a few have made it into the new catalogue which I am extremely happy about) but on the other hand I am super excited because the new catalogue has some AMAZING stamp sets which I shall look forward to sharing with you over the coming months!  Watch this space!

So, this month I have used two stamps which are sadly leaving us but will remain firmly in my collection, Baby Bumblebee and So Very Happy.

Without further ado, here is what we made.

 

 

 

 

 

This box measures approximately 14cm long x 7cm deep and opens on a diagonal hinge, all held together by a cute belly band.

 



We then made three cards, the first again using the Baby Bumblebee stamp.

The second one used the So Very Happy stamp set.

Finally, the third one also used the So Very Happy stamp set.

Happy Anniversary....

I just wanted to share with you today, a card I made for the landlord and lady of our local pub.  Yesterday they celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary with a renewal of their wedding vows.  I have never been to a wedding renewal before and I must confess it makes me want to do it all over again!

We had a lovely day and here is the card I made, I hope you like it.
