Inspire.Create.Challenge #185 | Clean & Simple

Good morning and welcome to another Inspire.Create.Challenge #185.  Today I am sharing my interpretation of clean and simple!

I must confess clean and simple rarely appears in my crafting style but I do like a challenge and paring back to achieve a clean and simple result is quite satisfying!

I always think of white on white when I think clean, there is something which screams elegance and by incorporating our beautiful embossing folders the look can be elevated whilst still remaining clean, simple and elegant.

I used two different embossing folders to emboss two separate pieces of white card.  I then chopped them randomly and glued the sections to another piece of white card to add a simple but effective background to my card.

You can just about see the embossing in the photograph but in real life the effect is very clear and the embossing creates shadows on the card.

I added a simple sentiment and coloured a couple of butterflies from the Sketched Butterflies stamp set using Stampin' Blends.

It is now your chance to showcase your own clean and simple designs.  The challenge is now open and closes at midnight on Wednesday 5 February so there is plenty of time to take part.

You can enter the challenge by clicking on the link below.

Happy creating!

  5. Such a lovely take on clean and simple I absolutely agree, white-on-white has a timeless, elegant vibe that just works. The way you layered the embossed pieces is so creative yet still minimalist I know this style can be deceptively tricky to pull off, but you’ve nailed it.
I have been diving into more structured creative projects lately (like writing essays for coursework fun, right?), and I have found that having go-to support like Homework Writers Canada really keeps things flowing without feeling overwhelming. It’s kind of like how embossing folders elevate a design the right tools make all the difference.

Thanks for the inspiration I may just give this challenge a try.
