Positive Inkers | Christmas

 

I am here with the Positive Inkers Design Team again today to share projects for Christmas.

Whilst I am quite a traditionalist when it comes to Christmas, loving the reds, greens and golds, just sometimes a colour combination really speaks to me.  I particularly fell in love with the colour combinations found in the Winter Meadow DSP but equally I fell in love with the Joy of Christmas suite so I decided to pair the two together for my cards today.

I have used a simple Basic White base for my card and stamped the pretty pattern on a second white layer in Moody Mauve ink.  The pattern is really delicate and not too difficult to line up.  I then created an arrangement from the various elements in the two stamp sets in a mixture of Pretty Peacock, Moody Mauve and Lost Lagoon, this really is a gorgeous colour combo!

Using the same colour combo, my second card has a base taken from the DSP which I embossed using the Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder.

I love the warmness of the Pretty Peacock mixed with the delicate tones of the Moody Mauve and Lost Lagoon, with a little silver edged ribbon for a little sparkle!

I shall definitely be making some more projects with these products.
