Welcome to the Positive Inkers Blog Hop. We are sharing some sneak peeks with you today from the Autumn/Winter catalogue. You only have a few more days before the catalogue goes live on the 6 September!
There are so many lovely goodies in the new catalogue but one set which really caught my eye is called Gift of Giving. I especially love this cup full of sweet treats.
I inked the Rays of Light stamp in Poppy Parade and added a little Cherry Cobbler to the edges to draw the eye into the centre.
I then stamped the cup in Memento ink and coloured it using Stampin' Blends before cutting out. I also stamped a coloured a few extra mistletoe leaves and berries.
I loved the dramatic look of this card using some of my favourite colours.
I wanted to show the cup in a not so 'in your face sort of way' too so I created this clean card using the same stamp but in a subtler way.
For the background of this card I used the new embossing folder called Snowflake Sky. It is really subtle so here is another picture which shows it a little clearer but you really need to see it in the flesh to appreciate its subtle beauty.
I had a strip I cut from the Rays of Light background and I hate to waste little prize pieces like that and it worked perfectly with the Poppy Parade cup.
I can't wait to see what my fellow designers have been creating and you can follow the hop by clicking on the links below.
Have a great day!
