SF2023 | All About the Paper

Welcome to the Stampin' Friends Blog Hop.  Today's projects are 'All About the Paper'!

We have some of the most gorgeous Designer Series Paper in our collections across the two current catalogues but the Christmas papers always get me!!!  This year is no exception and I am in love with the Beary Christmas DSP.

I have created a simple card today using the DSP and the co-ordinating Memories & More Cards.

I particularly loved this cute paw prints in the snow design.  When you look closer at it, you can see all sorts of prints, it's very cute.

The card front is from the Memories & More cards.  They are so simple to use and make really delightful quick and simple cards.

But today we also have a 3d project for you to further highlight these gorgeous papers.  I have recreated a box that I made last year.  I made it as a display piece for a class but I have been inundated with requests for the instructions so I thought today was the perfect day!

The top and base of the box are made from chipboard so they are really strong.  I designed this box to hold 16 chocolates (the ones with the hazelnut in the middle!) but it could be used for all sorts of gifts.

Here are the two projects together.

I have recorded a video of the process to make this box and it provides measurements in both metric and imperial.  I do hope you will give it a go.

Happy Stampin'
