Good afternoon and thank you for joining me today. You may have joined me from Jan or starting your journey here but either way best make yourself a cuppa as we have a beauty of a hop for you today.
This month we are tasked with the heading 'techniques'. This can be background techniques or colouring techniques or like me, I have chosen to highlight a card technique, the shaker card!
When I sat down to make this card I wanted to make use of one of the amazing products that will soon be parting us which is sad but that just means there is lots of room for some fantastic new goodies!
Here is my card....
I sponged some Flirty Flamingo, Grapefruit Grove, Mango Melody and Coastal Cabana on to a piece of Whisper White cardstock before cutting out the Happy Birthday. I made my shaker part using the Layering Circles and the balloons using the balloon punch.
Here you can just see some little seed beads I used for the shaker part. I always like to use something a little heavier than punched out shapes or glitter as you get a real 'shake' and they don't cling to the acetate.
I hope you like my card and I am now going to pass you on to Ximena who I am sure has something gorgeous to share with you today.
Happy Stampin'!
Jo
