Christmas in July - Advent Calendar (Part 1)....

Good morning, today I want to share with you the recent Christmas in July class I held using the Under the Mistletoe Suite.  We made this advent calendar.

 

I had been wanting to create an advent calendar for a while and Christmas in July seemed the perfect opportunity for this project as it allows plenty of time to complete it before the 1 December deadline!!!  How does Christmas always creep up on us, I mean its on the same day every year after all!!!

I knew I wanted to create the calendar using boxes so I made up 24 boxes first and then built the design around it.

 

 

 

I had 23 kits to prep which took quite some time and here is the room all set up for the day.

 

 

 

 

All attendees received a personalised pizza box with all the goodies they needed to complete the project, along with a little table gift full of those all important sugary treats to get them through the day!

 

I hope you like my project, it sure was a labour of love but I think it was well worth it and something that can be treasured for years to come.
