September 2018 Kre8tors Blog Hop: Sympathy...

Hello from the UK, today I am joining many demonstrators from the around the World in another Kre8tors Blog Hop.  This month we were tasked with the theme of 'Sympathy'.

I have to confess I don't usually make many sympathy cards (thankfully!) and I tend to go for the 'Thinking of You' type sympathy card.

I wanted to keep  my card simple and understated (which is not my strong point!) and chose to use the Colorful Seasons Stamp Set.  This set is so versatile for so many things.  Here is my card...

The background is embossed using the Simply Falling embossing folder.  I cut the branches from the Seasonal Layers dies that co-ordinate with the Colorful Seasons stamps and the flowers are die cut from Petal Pink cardstock. I added some simple pearls to the centre of the flowers to finish.

I then made a second card but this time it is a card for somebody whose pet has gone over the rainbow bridge.  Our furbabies are definitely members of the our family and I would certainly appreciate receiving a little card if anything happened to one of mine.
I hand cut a heart template by folding a post-it note in half and cutting a heart shape.  I drew around the heart and stamped the little footprints from the Foxy Friends stamp set.  The clouds are cut from the Up & Away Framelits and the little coloured hearts are punched using the Cookie Cutter punch.  The greeting is taken from the Colorful Seasons stamp set.

I hope you have enjoyed looking at my projects today and I am now going to pass you on to the amazing Jacqui Lawrence.
Happy Stampin'
Jo
