Ink & Share Scrapbook January Hop - Artistic Licence ...

Good afternoon and thank you for joining me today for the Ink & Share Scrapbook Blog Hop.

You may have joined me from Cheryl or starting your journey here but it is lovely to have you and I hope you enjoy my pages.

The theme for this hop is "Artistic Licence" so, anything goes.

I decided to create the following pages for an upcoming scrapbooking class using the bee'autiful Golden Honey DSP which you can earn for FREE during the Sale-a-Bration period.  It is predominantly black, white and gold and is stunning.

I had quite a few old black and white photographs of my late parents which showed just how happy they were as a couple and they always make me smile when I look at them so I have put them together in a double page layout.  Sadly the pictures are not of the best quality but I love them still the same.

I hope you have enjoyed my pages and have inspired you to get scrapping!

I am now going to hand you over to Cindy who I am sure has something beautiful to share with you today.

Happy Scrappin'

Ink.Stamp.Share Blog Hop - Sale-a-Bration...

Good afternoon and thank you for joining the Ink.Stamp.Share blog hop, our first for 2020!

The start of a new year always sees the amazing Sale-a-Bration promotion begin.  The promotion runs for three months and gives you a great opportunity to earn FREE goodies.  If you want to hear more then please get in touch or head over to the promotions page.  So, what better way than to celebrate but to have a Sale-a-Bration blog hop.

You may be joining me from Sue or starting your journey here.  There is a roll call list at the bottom of this post if you get lost along the way.

I have chosen to highlight the beautiful stamp set called 'Happy Birthday to You'.
This set is great for all types of colouring techniques and I have chosen to use the Stampin' Blends which give a beautiful depth of colour.  Here is my card.

I decided to use just the flowers from the cake image for the front panel, they are so pretty and makes the set more versatile.  I decoupaged a couple of the flowers to give them more depth.

I then made a simple pop up for the cake in the centre of my card.

I hope you liked my project today.  I love to hear from you so please leave a comment below.

I am now going to pass you on to Cindy who I am sure has something lovely to share with you today.

Happy Stampin'

SF 2020 January - Birthday Bash Blog Hop...

Good afternoon and thank you for joining me today for the Stampin' Friends January 2020 Blog Hop.

This month's theme is 'Birthday Bash', basically celebrating everything birthdays.

You may have arrived from Cheryl or starting your journey here but sit back and enjoy!

I recently made this Roll Out Box using the beautiful Best Dressed suite, the images and especially the DSP in this suite are beautiful and the colours are yummy.

I made a very small version of this box some years ago but decided to upsize it for a recent class.  I will shortly be adding the tutorial for this box to my tutorial section.

The box is made up of four internal triangular boxes which unroll and then roll back up to create a large box, perfect for that birthday surprise.  The boxes could hold some sweet treats or cosmetics or I thought maybe some nail polishes would be nice.

This is the top of the box and I just love that saying "Be as Bold as your Lipstick"

This is the box when it is unrolled.

The card I have CASED from the Mini Catologue, I just loved this design.

I hope you have enjoyed my projects and that they have inspired you to get creative.  I would love to hear from you so please leave me a comment below.

I am now going to pass you on to Steph who I am sure has something beautiful to share with you today.

You can travel through the hop by using the Roll Call list of participants.

Happy Stampin'
