Christmas Magic...

I couldn't resist sharing this little beauty with you.  When I first saw the new Autumn/Winter catalogue, which you are gonna love, one of the first sets that jumped out at me (actually the vast majority of them did!) - and it is called Christmas Magic and this train reminded me of the Polar Express (love that film!).

Baby Bear and other cutesies...

As you may know, I hold a monthly class which highlights a stamp or stamps.   I asked the class what they would like to see in the August class from the new Annual Catalogue and the most popular sets were what I call the 'cutesies' - namely, Baby Bear, Bella & Friends and Pretty Kitty.

So I thought it would be nice to incorporate all three of these stamp sets as they compliment each other quite nicely.  So here is what we made.

I hope you like them.  Next month will be all about Christmas with the release of the new Autumn/Winter catalogue on 1 September, I can't wait!!!

Christmas is coming...

How excited am I!!??  The brand new Autumn/Winter catalogue is just a matter of weeks away and I cannot wait for you all to see what Stampin' Up! has in store for you this year.

I have received my sneaky pre-order which inevitably was a little larger than I anticipated!  Life has been a bit mad these last few weeks however I have managed to squeeze a couple of little makes to share with you.

So, this first card is made using a couple of new stamp sets, the greeting is from a set called Wonderful Year which consists of 6 stamps and the pines are from a set called Christmas Pines which doubles up with Pretty Pines Thinlits Dies.  The pine cones are made using three step stamping which, as usual, makes the image pop, I can see me using both these sets quite a lot this year.  And the gold twine is gorgeous and comes in a trio pack with Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green.  Oh and I nearly forgot, the greeting is embossed in a brand new embossing powder - Real Red Glitter - it doesn't show up particularly well in the picture but trust me it is lovely and very very sparkly.

The second card that I am sharing with you is made using a really lovely embossing folder called Cable Knit Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, it is different to our usual embossing folders, a lot thicker and the embossing is divine, really detailed and looks just like a cozy jumper.  The reindeer are from a set called Cookie Cutter Christmas which comes with lots of different Christmas characters and a great co-ordinating punch (there is also a little teddy sneaked in too)!  The greeting comes from another set called Banners for Christmas which just shows how all these amazing products compliment each other perfectly.

That's it for now but I hope these have given you a little taste of what delights are still to come.
