Ink.Stamp.Share May Blog Hop | Sneak Peeks

Happy Saturday to you all, today the Ink.Stamp.Share Blog Hop has some sneak peeks for you from the brand new Annual Catalogue.  Whilst lots of you will no doubt be waiting for your new goodies to arrive, we wanted to show you some of the amazing new products.

I love anything to do with birdhouses and birdies so this set, Countryside Birdhouse, was a must for me.  The stamps alone are beautiful but combined with the dies, you can create all sorts of wonderful projects.

For my card base I chose Fresh Freesia, not a colour I use much as anyone who knows me knows I struggle with the colour purple!  However, Fresh Freesia is a really soft colour so I can live with it!

I stamped the background using one of the little flower stamps in the set in Fresh Freesia ink.

I then stamped the birdhouse in Black Memento ink on to Basic White cardstock.  I actually stamped and die cut it and then stuck it to another piece of Basic White cardstock.  I only did this as at the time I wasn't sure what I was going to do with the birdhouse but you can stamp direct on to Basic White cardstock if you prefer.

I coloured the birdhouse using Stampin' Blends.  The floral arrangement stamp is so pretty, I stamped three of them in Basic White cardstock and die cut them so they could be mounted on Stampin' Dimensionals.

The stand of the birdhouse was die cut using Crumb Cake cardstock.  I then used the little tree bark stamp on to the central pillar in Pecan Pie ink.  I then masked the central pillar and coloured the swirls, also in Pecan Pie ink.

I also cut an additional wing for the bird which was attached using Stampin' Dimensionals.

I know you are going to love this little set and I know you will be seeing quite a lot of it from me.  There is also a complimentary set to this suite called Country Flowers and they work so well together.  There are also two packs of DSP in the suite called Country Woods which has a rustic feel with lots of woodgrain with some very pretty colours.  The other is called Country Lace and has a much softer feel to them but together they are a dream!

You can follow today's hop by clicking on the links below.  I cannot wait to see everyone's sneak peeks!

Have a fabulous weekend (we have a bank holiday on Monday here in the UK so a nice long one for us!).

Happy Stampin'

Jo
