Color Combo Blog Hop - March ...

Good morning and welcome to the Colour Combo Blog Hop for March.  Today I am joining lots of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the World.

We had to create a project using three colours

Melon Mambo - Blushing Bride - Crushed Curry

You may have jointed me from Sharon or starting the hop here, either way welcome.

What a fab colour combo, my first thought was flowers but I decided to try and think outside the box for a change and used the lovely Wonderful Moments stamp set.

I created a colour wash background using a mixture of the three colours in stripes.

I then stamped the lady with the balloons and gift in black Stazon ink.  I used ink from the ink pads to colour my lady, Melon Mambo for the dress and shoes, each of the three colours for the balloons, Melon Mambo and Crushed Curry for the gift bag, a very light colour wash of Crushed Curry for the hair and a mix of Blushing Bride and Crushed Curry to create the flesh colour.

I mounted the lady on some Basic Black cardstock.  Mounted everything on to the Basic Black cardstock and added some Baker's Twine.

I stamped the greeting from the Special Celebrations stamp set using Versamark and heat set it using White Embossing Powder before cutting out and mounting on my card.

I hope you like my project, I love to hear from you and it would be great if you are able to leave me a comment.

I am now going to pass you on to Gez, who I am sure has something amazing to share with you today.

Happy Stampin'

Jo
